I tried to sleep on the lawn today during lunch break unsuccessfully. I then decided to wander around state street and look at stuff, and a thought hit me. I shoud write an essay on diabetes and how lukcy I am that I understand the technology. If I lived in a world where there was no insulin, I would die. If I lived in a world where there was shitty healthcare, like Muldovia, I would have insulin but no technology and my legs would decay and be removed. I would go blind. I would become inpotent.

As it is I live in a technologically advanced region of the world. A small medical device tracks my BG values as I prick my finger. My technologically savy hands operate the controls. I am able to intrepret the results.
