When he is looking over my shoulder telling me to "work, work, work" it just puts me in a sour mood which then transfers to the customer. He needs to lay off and wait until the end of the day to critique what I am doing rather than every 5 mintues. Things like "I hear the mouse clicking but not the phone", and "ok lets talk since it looks like you have stalled out." Ok so some of this is true but it was damn boring and I was tired.
I am slowly coming off the caffiene starting today. Only one small cup of coffee this morning and now I am drinking a cup of tea. It is the act of sipping that really wakes you up. I should remember that.
Now I am not so sure about producing a party. There are many factors I have to look into before I invest and I should make that clear to sean. I was a little too gung-ho about the whole thing. It sounds like a good deal if you just talk about the revenue, this amount per tickets, this many tickets, etc. However if you look at the real problem it is getting people to buy them, it is the promotion that determines how well a venue does. We need a clear marketing strategy before this- radio stations, flyers, etc. Also there could be someplaces that we could give away free tickets too for promotion... that would be effective. Maybe other venues? I know that they give away tickets on the radio all the time which is a form of publicity. Hmm..... Still have to grok the situation.
