Battlefield 1942 is a great game.

The general idea is that it is a war simulation of the battles of 1942. With only 32 players on a server though, it is somewhat of a joke to say that. Possibly the coolest thing is the ability to control tanks, fighters, bombers, ships, jeeps, etc. There are so many vehicles that players can jump into control that it makes three drops of pee come out, whether you like it or not.

If you play together, something which rarely happens with friendly fire turned on, then you can do all sorts of cool things. Today we were trying to spot destroyer rounds so that they were hitting home every time. It worked like a charm for a while, but then there were some problems. I think the game is still pretty buggy.

For players who are farmilar with team combat games, such as Caste Wolfenstien, this game is a must. The vehicles make it all worthwhile.

Other than that, lazy, lazy day today.
