In contrast to yesterday, Mindflash sucked today.

The day started when Dave say what I wrote to the John Deere customer. I will paraphrase for simplicity,

"Well now that I have the presentation it should be only a couple more days. It sat around on various people's desks, but now progress can actually commence."

While I felt extremely embaressed for writing such non-sense, I realized that I sometimes write stuff like this and don't even realize it. At the time it made sense, in a way I guess it was an ego boost for me, demonstrating what I can do. It was verified when Dave asked what other people did, and found out the answer was nothing. I have a tendancy to overstate things like that though, both while writing for Eschaton as well as Mindflash. Well before I get too sympathetic for myself I will stop.
