Well the Battlefield 1942 addiction has finally ceased, lucky for me because the game just shipped on Tuesday. Now I can sit peacefully and play my phat lute while others are sucked into a zombie like trance while they play that game. It is just too much fun for its own good.

I finnally got into my College lit class today, it might have to do with my completion of the reading assignment the night before. I was once asked why I read painful books for classes, books that I would never read on my own. My response? Because I feel like a moron in class if I don't. I don't like the shifty eyes I have to give the teacher once she asks for sections from the reading.

More interestingly, today I read the memo from my boss, the sales manager, to the CEO telling him that the product we are selling has no future. It was interesting to finally read, I saw it coming, and know that the .com company I work for is actually going to die. No matter, it just so happens I found a good job opening at the end of next month with a company that could be even better. So I am only somewhat concerned that I will be eating rats anytime soon.
