Well I am begining to think that the way I setup the fiction contest in flawed. Rather than setting up a system where they email entries to me, I allowed them to post it too the forums. So far, people came to the site saying that they came there to write fiction, but none of them stuck around that long. To date, not one post for the Eschaton Fiction Contest. It could be a number of things.

They could feel the painful fear of rejection if their fellow peers disliked their ficiton and voiced it on the forums. They could just not be interested at all. Or they could be painstakingly writing a short novel right now with the intention to post it once the masterpiece is complete. I simply have no way of knowing.

In the meantime there is much to do, the long weekend will be much appreciated.
