Ahh, what a beautiful afternoon.

Nevermind the slight headache and diahrea, its a great day. Earlier, when I woke up I felt much different, but that was only because I was bitter about going to work yet another morning and my body still hasn't fully adjusted to the new sleeping schedule I have myself following. In bed around 12, up by 6:30. Usually I awake before the alarm goes off and pop out of bed when it hits, and then I am on the trail, jogging. Instituting the morning jog once again is the best thing I have done in a couple months- how much more energy I have!

I found a good book on leadership, and am going to digest it over the next couple days. I want to keep learning how to improve my leadership talents and abilities. Gnostic Labs needs a leader, Jake has already told me indirectly to lead the company. We are in a mess right now, which had me feeling overwealmed over the past couple of days and only recently have I overcame this.

Could depression be a leadership creator mechanisim?

As someone else takes control of an organization and starts to lead it the other potential canidates start to become depressed and the leader starts to become more in control. It would be a way for evolution to naturally create leaders in the world.

I want to give a good speech at the meeting tomorrow, to see if we really have what it takes to create this game. I need Jake and Jay on board, 100%. Jake is running low now, and Jay is doing nothing. I need to call both of them on their bullshit and see if I can't get them to make this game company with all of their passion. If not then fuck it, life is too short to fuck around browsing the web all day. Side projects are going to be the end of us.

Also I need to get more people helping out with the project. Barak could be the first I could get on board, I just need to get in touch with him via chat or email. The last email I sent him might have been a bit bold, but whatever. I can also use my father's paid web-work to get us working together on something, then we can transition into the game website quite easily and I can build up his trust in regards to payment on time.

The first thing I have gleamed from this new book is that your word is everything with leaders. You must be HONEST. This is almost always the first quality of a leader of any type- they are honest. Secondly they play to win. No doubt about it, leaders do not want to fuck around, they want to be the best in whatever it is that they do. They want to be around other people that do that as well. They are never afraid to point out problems, tell people to fuck off or challenge people to either work hard or to leave. At first this will drive them mad, possibly even piss them off. BUt eventually it will pay off, because everyone likes to win.

And winning is what I am all about.
