I hadn't realized its already been two days since my last entry. Things have been quite busy around the ole Trav-shack.

First off, I am feeling a little better. I was perscribed a powerful ant-biotic that is killing off all the bacteria in my body, good and bad. I am still coughing, sneezing and wheezing, but its much better than days previous. And I no longer get the bouts of extreme tiredness that were hitting me around noon. So things are looking up.

It seems like the Bacara is a fortress to get into. They have one recruiter who must interview all the staff, and so getting an appointment with this guy is like talking to the freaking president. You really have to be on the ball, and it was just today that I was able to cutt through the bullshit and get the right information I needed to know when to call so I can schedule an appointment. It almost seems that they are screening people by never calling them back and sending them for a loop. Those that push through the crap, call back, and stay on the ball get an appointment. Those who wait for a call back... just keep waiting.

I need to get in soon. Shessh.. my hair is going out of style.

In other news, somehow my father found a treasure buried away in a box somewhere- an old home movie we made when we were kids. It was the infamous "Gideon and Abermelic" bible story that my childhood gang made for a religion class of ours. Damn, I really hope that its everything that I remember it being. I always thought it was lost, because we had to edit it onto a video tape full of porn (the only tape we had) which my mom later threw away. But the original 8mm has just been found!

Yippie skippy. As soon as I can find it, I digitize it and email it on to my old buds.
