Now my entire apartment is insane.

Yesterday we came to the conclusion that teflon is not something that you should be cooking in. These are the "non-stick" pans that most people use. It is our opinion that the stuff that makes it non-stick is the devil, and if you consume it, it will end up consuming you in the long run.

So we threw all of our pots in the trash and went pan shopping.

Pan shopping is something usually reserved for the other gender of our fine species, so it was a bit confusing. Aparently a 7 piece "set" is really four pots with three lids. Why the hell you count the lids as pieces is something every pot buyer has wondered. Few people complain audibly to anyone who will listen. We are in the latter, smaller catagory.

Right now I am using the new skillet, which is a ten inch masterpiece, made out of the shinniest metal I have ever seen- stainless steel. Aparently this is much healthier to cook in, and it looks so damn impressive. I like it.

Did I ever rant about my apartment?

Well three people in one room sucks. But we have things organized in such a way that it is bearable. One room is for sleeping, and ONLY sleeping. Ok, well sometimes for getting dressed as well. But no reading, studying, etc. That is for the living room, which simply has six computers in it. No couch, no TV.. just a bunch of computers. That is our office.

And I have come to love the office. In our old place, I moved in on the couch and turned my room into the office. While that sucked when Jay was on one of his late night coding sprees and I had to getup in the morning, it was all for the better. Gnostic Labs really came around when that started to happen. We started to think of ourselves as a company.

Perhaps that is what I do around here. I get people to think that we are a real company. Yes, in fact this is what I am going to do today. I am going to make some official looking documentation for our budget and schedule. I am going to email our company and let them know what is happening. I am going to be the guide, so to speak. I lead the way.

I posted a new rant about the administrative offices as UCSB. Hopefully it will get published, after I revise it of course.
