I probably have some evil virus, or else I just had too long of a weekend down in LA. Regardless, whenever I sit down to do something the same thing happens- I fall alseep.
I guess its not a bad thing, its just that it would be nice if I could focus until it is completed, rather than falling alseep while in an uncomfortable chair.
First day at the Barcara today. Interesting place, it is. Its not any day that you get to tour a $320 million dollar resort. Its damn nice, and has the silly artwork to prove it. Why do they pay $3 million for a penguin looking Monroe original? Perception. Its all in the perception and the salesmanship of the person pushing the item. A high schooler could have easily made that damn hunk of rock in his basement, but since it was crafted by Monroe its worth piles of money.
The falcons had to be the coolest part of the tour. To solve the seagull problem, the Bacara decided that hiring a fleet of falcons and a falconer would solve the problem (which it largely did). Its good to see the art of falconry still being practiced today.
