Sexual Selection

After getting more into "The Mating Mind" and having a subsequent argument with Jake and Jay, I now look at most everything in this context. I see a beautiful woman, and then know that the reason that I think she is pretty is because of a face free of problems, a good hip to waist ratio, and some nice, perky breasts. All these things are perfectly described in evolutionary sense- these are the human mating selectors. I also select for hieght as well- thats a big one for me.

I was wrong when I thought that the human mind was produces in a sexual selection process- not even Miller goes that far in his book. The brain probably developed due to natural selection as it provided a much better chance of surviving. Sexual selectors can describe art, courtship, penis size and shape, and of course, the almighty female orgasim and seeminly useless clitoris (useless as a means of surviving that is).

Did you know that a male silverback Gorilla, although he wieghs 350 pounds, only has a three inch penis?

Don't I feel better now.
