Down with the press!

(*^)*&^_*! ARGH.

I had a nice, surefire way to get some new press for our game and a single journalist had to go and mess it up. Here is the low down.

So I had a press release about our new game that I wanted to release in conjunction with a handful of interviews that would come out at around the same time as the release. So how do you do this? You write a press release that is POST dated until the time you want to release it (so it doesn't say FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. It says something like EMBARGOED FOR RELEASE UNTIL XX/XX/XX) and then inform the media people that you want to have an interview out around that time.

So what the hell does HomeLanFed do? THEY POST IT RIGHT THEN.

Bastards.....

So now I had to quickly send it out to everyone else, and have to get that interview done ASAP so that I can get a couple headlines in a row for our game.

Nobody said the press was full of good natured people. They are animals out there.
