Fun stuff

Working once again on the business plans for Gnostic Labs. Good things are coming our way, we are getting some breaks. It pays to stick with things for a while, I am finding out. It hurts at times, but when things start to work out you recognize that it is all worthwhile. I am once again, widly optimistic about what we can do as a company. Such is the way one must be when writing business plans and such.

I am still trying to land a beautiful girlfriend. Talked to a girl today at Borders while I was getting some coffee. It went something like this:

Me: Who do you think drinks coffee more, guys or girls?
Her: Guys, definitely.

Then we get into a convo about how she can't handle coffee, doesnt drink it that much and some other stupid crap. I used no material and hadn't taken a shower or a shave in a couple days. It was a pretty bad pickup, as far as those things go. She was pretty cute though, I give myself props for trying. I think if I do this once a day I will be in pretty good shape.

It ended with me trying to get her email address, but it backfired for a couple reasons. First is my specific terminology- I first asked if she would give me her email address- bad move. I should have said, do you have email? When she says yes, you then say- cool, give it to me. I like commands rather than questions.

The email bounced back to me when I tried to send it today. I think she decided to flake when I asked, while she was already writing down her email, for her phone number... again, I asked. She then DENIED it, talking about how she gets stalker problems and doesn't give out her number.

What a load of crap.

At anyrate, it was fun. In hindsight, I needed to use some structure and technique rather than just the random shit I was throwing around. She wanted to give me her number, but I failed to get it from her correctly. OVerall, not bad for a random, unprepared pickup.

Sorritory girl though, so no big loss.

I need to set some goals for my life. I want to do a couple things now- be healthy, make a successful business, and date wonderful women. With some focus, I can get it all. Won't that be nice :)
