Real estate?

I blame the sunshine. It has been out for the past two weeks in full force, and I have taken full advantage. At first it was a burn, but now I have some nice color. And the Vitamin D is doing me wonders. Insluin requirements are down and my smile is looking good, even though my orthodontist recently tightened up the teeth. And my thoughts have been all over the place.

Maybe it started with the rockclimbing a couple weeks ago. I really need to get some pictures up on these beast to show how cool I was 80 feet in the air, on a cliff, with my wieght resting on a three milimeter bump in the wall as I struggle for a hand grip. I can see why my friends got into this during high school. It gives you a great warm fuzzy at the top, you really feel like you have accomplished something.

So how is the cell phone game going? Slowly. I have been up all night only once working on it so far, along with the crazy CCS crew. The crazy CCS crew is kinda like the LA Mansion crew but in an extremely nerdy way. Both groups are equally freverent about doing what it is they like, but they just pursue different things. Its social status as opposed to geekdome. Its a model in LA as opposed to a working garbage collector. I really want both as it is, but my geekdome is soley related to getting a commercial product (the cell game) up and running rather than an undying love for cool technology and garbage collectors. Although I have to admit that staying up all night with the CCS crew is quite fun and am going to do it more often just for kicks and giggles.

My social dynamics studying is going well, me and my buddy Seth went out last night and discussed it on a high level. There was no direct interation, more of talking about the meta-game and strategies that you can use. I feel I have a much more broader understanding about the road to getting a relationship now. Strange that people actually study stuff like this, very non traditional. But its facinating. We were supposed to do some real live type field work downtown in a bar, but Seth lost his ID. No ID, no social dynamics expirimentation. Boo ho. So we will have to wait.

I forgot to mention how I started talking to Seth again. It was in Borders when we happen to walk into the busines book section, and he started talking about real estate, which he had read about. Real Estate investment as it is, turns out to be quite the lucrative business. I like real estate, and many of my family and friends invest their money into real estate. Its a huge, huge market. So before I knew it, I was down at the Santa Barbara county courthouse looking for people who had not paid off their mortagages that month. Did you know that if you have a mortgage and miss a payment that your bank will file a slip with the county and that anyone can view that document? Interesting stuff... but the general idea is to find someone who wants to sell their house, or assign the deed over to you. Then you can sell it yourself and keep the profit while protecting said person from bankrupcy. A pretty sound method if you ask me. There is more too it, but I don't wanna get into it now.

On another front, E3 is in three weeks or so, and Gnostic Labs has actually fallen into a neglected area of my life. I did stay up all night a couple days ago riding a manic episode all the way until 4AM and got historical financial documents created, but I still haven't finished the forecasting type of documents. I feel kinda bad about that. I keep coming into the office and getting distracted by blogs, my counsin and real estate. Really, I should just make the freaking thing.... right after some food.

Have I once again bit off more than I can chew? We shall see.
