E3 was a blast, as you might be able to tell from the associated photos. Sleep deprivation was a reocurring theme, along with late nights in the office and late nights as parties afterward. I felt much like a zombie, and praised the gods for the sweet necture of coffee that flowed through my viens. Too bad it stops working after a while. I recall getting a large starbucks roast with a shot of expresso on Wednesday that couldn't save me. Even though my heart loved the caffine and was applauding loudly in my chest, my brain said nope, sorry and shut down with my body sitting in a chair and my head resting on a post with my mouth wide open. I don't think I drolled. Too much.
The whole last week has really brought me back into Gnostic Labs. Sure I was really burnt out a while ago, but we actually made a trailer of decent quality. I was suprised actually. And when your team makes something that is cool and of high quality, suddenly you feel motivated. You know you can pull it off, and the business people can pickup on that energy.
Sure I am going to MT this summer and still slowly producing my own cell phone game. But that doesn't mean I can't get Gnostic some funding and help. Its mainly Jake's project, and I am going to pull through for him. I still have to break the news that I am going to MT over the summer, but I will make sure to take care of biz while I am away. Bills will be paid, and finances will continue to remain solid. Also I will be doing some PR stuff, that won't take too much effort and will be a nice relief from all the real estate stuff I will be doing in MT. God its going to be a great summer.
Other things that happened... my friend Rommi won the annual UCSB business plan competition. I want to take that thing next year, no matter what. A 10K check sound pretty damn good to me.
My cell phone game is somewhat working, but still needs tons of work. My partner is a lazy bastard, but his dad is a Venture Capitalist so I forgive him. Through his connections we can sell the game, and that is valuable. I also spent lots of time in the CA desert at Palm Springs, golfing and helping out with said Venture Capitalist's conference. It was fun and the drinks were free. Enough said.
And the days roll on.|||108467010422687142|||
