Yay for summer

Its right around the corner. Another week of nothing, then finals week and then freedom. Not like school is much of anything right now anyways, I mean, I have one paper to write and one project to complete but that is it. The little cell phone game and a paper on leadership. Nice. I anticipate about two or three hard days for the cell phone game, then we can try and do something with it. Either sell it or use it to secure some contract programming work. Either way, I think it should all work out.

My friend David is becoming more and more of a closer friend as I go out and approach girls with him. He is great, fearless even. Looks like tonight we are going to a nice bar called Q's for eighties night with our friend Seth. Thats the guy who helps teach the workshops in LA, he ruxxors. Last time we went out it was pretty good and he showed us quite a bit. Almost # closed a nice good looking girl but it fell apart in the end. Ahh well.

I am thinking that next quarter is a good time to start teaching something. Perhaps David and I should do a class on Sales. That would be different. A class about different selling techniques, how to recognize them, how to use them, etc. That would help tie some of this seduction stuff together into something really useful, such as salesmanship ability. Its all really similar.

As for the computer game, it looks like our trailer is coming out soon and its going to be good. Hopefully it can turn some heads in the publishing community and get some contacts flowing. The good part about a trailer is that it can certainly be used to wow some investors and land points with them. I feel more and more that this is mainly Jake's project, but it certainly has hope. The Independent Game's Festival submission is September 1st, and requires one playable level. I know Jake can nail that milestone, and then I can use that demo to shop around to various publishers. Awesome. By then I should be in touch with several, as I can start now with the trailer. Then we can get the rest of the money to finish the game, hopefully for limited distribution rights (such as rights only to the UK for example), so then we can still sell it ourselves over the net.

Wow, running always gets me feeling better. I have to remember that. A little run along with some good vitamins does the body good.

On a side note, I saw that movie "the Day After Tomorrow" yesterday. OK. I walked outstide and expected to be hit by a blizzard after watching it, lol. I thought the political undertones were silly, but a good special effects flick if you can get around some of the sillieness. Ahh well.

Till then.
