And so it begins.
It looks like I might be taking a quarter off to handle this real estate stuff that is cropping up. I need to make sure that the four-plex is fully rented with good tennants that will be there for a while. I need to be able to get money out of it each month.
One goal that I want to accomplish is to get enough cash flow so that I can support myself and Jake. Before I was simply going to walk away, but the more I think about it the more I think that its going to be a great way to make some money. Ecspecially if I can get Jake into a fourplex as well. That would be pimp. Then we would have eight units and cashflow pouring in. Ok so maybe not pouring in, but using a neg am loan certainly will make it easy to get free rent and then some, with only a little hassle.
I wonder what the rents are like in Austin Texas. I should really help JaKe out by trying to get the company going. If he was in Austin, it would probably be much, MUCH easier to find some interns that want to get into the industry. I should see how much a four-plex is in that area, and see if I can get something to cashflow. That is the name of the game, as we all know. But Austin might have some potential, and the faster I can get Jake into some RE the better off we will be.
