Wow

IV Halloween was last night, but I am going to save that crazy tale for another post. NYC still must be discussed.

So my motherboard decided to die, and my comp was not working at all when I moved it from the office. I got a great little setup here in my own room now at the old Lambda house in IV and its tight. One day I will take a pic and post it up on here.

So wow... I mean WOW. New York is the greatest city in the world. At least from what I have seen. That island of Manhattan is a one of a kind. Your on the island and real estate is pricey, or you are off the island and real estate sucks. I think this is key as to why NYC has been built up so damn high.

Another note is on the energy of the place. Someone once told me that you could feel it if you sat around in Grand Central Station... and they were right. I went there once and just watched people. They are all moving so damn fast! It seems like everyone is thinking "Shit, I need to make that next train and get there, I need to GO".

I went to the NYU school of business and walked around with some of the students. That was cool. 360 people are in that two year school and it seems great. I sat in on a class and learned about ROA, which was actually interesting and pertinent to real estate. I now seriously want to get an MBA from some Ivy league school. NYU is cool, but they don't have much of a real estate department at all. Its mainly just finance. I found an undergraduate class on Real Estate and bought the books for it because the information was so good. But I will have to look at some other schools in NYC, as its a cool place. Columbia perhaps? I looked into it and there are good RE programs at a school in TX, Berkeley, and Stanford. But do I really want to stay here in CA? Who knows.

I am going to write a book. Probably an e-book. But if it blows up I could get it real. Its going to be on how to properly manage Type-I diabetes.
