I got my first taste of a nice drop in my stock portfolio. Didn't know I had a portfolio? Niether did I. Until my Dad said, oh by the way I have this custodian account for you and here it is. 20 shares of Ebay. And what happens on day one, when I get the stocks?

20% drop in the value. Biggest drop in Ebay's history. I am crying.

The more I looked into it... the more the stock market looked like a very large, very complex beast that I don't want to tango with. Ebay stock dropped for almost no reason.... earnings report comes out, they missed the prediction by a penny a share.... and then TANK.

I think there is only one way to play the market, and that is to own the company. Talk about insider trading then... you know everything!
