So what have I been doing the past month? I have become a builder/construction worker/ master architect. I had a meltdown one day and realized that I needed to put some work into my place ASAP if there was any chance in hell of getting it sold. So I went and rented a gas-powered auger and dug 47 post holes. Here is the fence in full effect... Its kinda striaght.

I try. At least I got a permit. No shody work there at all, it is all up to international fence code. Each of those holes are 18 inches, and it sucked to dig those, even with a machine. I mean it. They don't call this the rocky mountains for nothing.

Here is a view from the front lawn. See how it is not built up to the sidewalk? That is because the city owns all that property. My property line ends where the fence is. Aparently they keep that land in case they want to widen the road or something.

But while I am at it, check out the views. I love waking up to stuff like this, it just fills me with something. What is it about the mountains?

That is the Missoula Valley. But do you see how the fence is not completed? That is because there are 900 pickets in my garage.

Anyone have some free time? Come staple some pickets with me.

OH and the big project has yet to even be started! I am awaiting for approval from the city. But then once I get the permits then it is ON. Here is my super-cool autocad rendering. It took me about a week to make them, but they are all up to code and the city is going to have to issue me permits, or else I am going to start a riot.

The green part is the current deck. I am going to add 5 feet to it and then cut in the doors on the bottom and add a concrete slab (for a hot tub). Its going to be a huge project. I am going to have to rent an excavator to dig down all that way... god how I love heavy machinery.
