11/03/2005 10:37:00 AM|||Travis||| So it appears that my unemployment might soon come to an end. I have an offer from a software company in Missoula sitting on the table and am heading to San Francisco next week to negotiate what will hopefully be a much better offer. To be honest I rather like what the company in Missoula does much better and see it as a company that could be snatched up by some sort of conglomerate in the near future, but the alure of a big city has me stunned along with something in the ballpark of two and a half to three times the salary. So what do you do? I dunnno, but certainly the next few days are going to influence the rest of my life much more than all the other days I have spent sitting here in Montana. It is decision time baby.
Since I am interviewing next week, I have the option of either A- finding a flight or B- getting the Benzo ready for one crazy road trip. It is kind of short notice to get a road trip going on, but it could still be fun. The total price of diesel for the benz is about $320 and the cheapest plane ticket I can find is $283, but if someone road trips it with me then it would be way cheaper to road trip. Then I could go from SF down to LA visiting family and friends and stuff. Or maybe I could save that for when I actually get down to CA. AND I have the secret weapon to ensure that I don't fall asleep. It is called Modafinil, brandname Provigal. Check it out: modafinl.com. Got to love the good drug guide. This is the latest and greatest anti-sleep drug out there, our military is all over it for our soldiers and pilots. So to drive or to fly, that is the question.
As usual, I continue to fly by the seat of my pants.|||113104384761601383|||Job Prospects
