Fall and Flying
Throughout the past couple months some of my friends might have heard me complain about the cold and about how I need warm sandy beaches and sunshine. But now that winter has actually arrived, I don’t feel the need so much anymore. I am, gasp, feeling good here in hickville, Montucky.
A strange thing happened on Sunday- Fall. Yes, it did all happen on one day. On Sunday I was manuvering the Benzo through 60 degree weather with crispy orange and red leaves falling all around, crunching under the tires and even falling through my open sunroof. The colors are simply magnificent, and I will stop there before I sound like a fruitcake. You know what it looks like, you have seen the pictures.
And how do you know winter is here? In one night, it goes from 60 to 20 degrees, well below freezing. I awoke pretty cold as my entire apartment was sans heat. Such is the life up in the North. And ugh, the cold. It cuts right through you.
So what else is new. I have been flying RC planes again. I have big plans to open a website dedicated to this emerging sport that has yet to attract a name- VR Flying? Virtual-Reality-Reality? I don’t know what to call it, but it involves cameras, VR googles, and over powered electric airplanes. VR Flying? That seems to stick.
